The term "hypertufa" refers to a type of artificial stone, and is a combination of "tufa," a natural volcanic rock, and "hyper," a prefix meaning extremely; hypertufa are extremely rock-like containers, much lighter in weight than concrete planters. During this hands-on workshop, attendees will learn about design and planting, and create a unique container to take home.
