    What are the ten most important things you need to know about oaks and maples?  What are the best and most interesting maples and oaks for your landscapes, street trees and woodlands? What are the key differences between the Red Oak Group and the White Oak Group? Hint: The main thing is not sharp lobes vs. round lobes). Is oak wilt disease serious in northeast Ohio? What are oak galls? Why do red maples sometimes displace sugar maples in forests? Do all maples have palm-like leaves? Is Verticillium wilt a threat to some maples and is tar spot a serious problem?

This class covers identification of common summer annual and perennial weerds, and control options for them. Time will be spent outside in the gardens, so come dressed for the weather!
