This introductory workshop provides a foundational overview of proper pruning practices. Instruction will cover key principles including appropriate timing, plant selection, essential tools, tool maintenance, and techniques for making correct pruning cuts. Participants will receive guidance from experienced professionals and will have the opportunity to develop hands‑on skills in a supervised setting.
Please note that fruit tree pruning will not be addressed in this session. Lunch will be provided.
The workshop will be led by Paul Snyder, Matt Shultzman, Shane Berner, and Phil Knopp of the CFAES Wooster Campus.
